Just like back in school, the blank page staring at me insights fear and instant writers blog. My first blog post. It should be meaningful and memorable, shouldn't it? Well they say the best place to start is at the beginning.
Where did the name MagpieSue come from? The first part is easy, my name is Sue. The second part took a little bit of thought. I wanted to open an on-line shop to sell vintage items and needed a shop name. So I began some research. The Magpie is a bird that is known as "one who collects odds and ends". Perfect! I have a hard time letting go of "stuff". Not quite into the realm of hoarding but definitely you can call me a keeper. I find comfort in things that bring me happy memories, makes it hard to let go of things. So since I collect things just like the magpie bird the name seemed to fit.
So thus began my adventures in online selling. Now, what can I actually part with from my home.
